Obituary for Billy Monroe Queen

Billy M. Queen, 75, of Cross Plains passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 in Abilene.

Billy was born on October 23, 1942 in Lampasas, TX to the late Lester Queen and Ola Ming Queen. He married Elaine Dufner on November 18, 1966 in Lampasas. Bill was a retired carpenter, Jack of all trades and was known as a hard worker. He was known for being a man of his word and will be missed by his family and longtime friends.

Bill is survived by his wife, Elaine; 2 daughters, Brenda Renee Queen and Regina Ann Queen; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Sturgeon, Hannah El Saleh, Norma Lee Queen, Tempy Ann Queen, Jacob Shubert; 2 great grandchildren, Conner and Henry; siblings, Wilda Mullins, Larry Queen and wife Margaret, Linda Sue Cabaniss, Rebecca Lynn O’Hair and husband Jerry; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Bill was also preceded in death by a daughter Rhonda Elaine Shubert.
