Bobbie Nell Joy-Brown, 86, of Pioneer, Texas passed away Friday, July 20, 2018 in Abilene, TX.
Graveside services will be Sunday, July 22 at 2:00 PM at Pioneer Cemetery in Pioneer, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, July 21 at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, TX.

Bobbie was born on February 22, 1932 in Cottonwood, Texas to the late Robert and Lois Whitehorn-Joy. She married Parker Brown December 12, 1949. They celebrated 41 years together, he preceded her in death on June 24, 1991. Bobbie was loved by so many, she made such a wonderful impression in many children’s lives through her job in the school cafeteria in Cross Plains. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her son-in-law, David Grider; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Bobbie is survived by her daughters, Donna Grider of Breckenridge, Texas; Debra and husband, Robert Clark of Breckenridge, Texas; son, Bryan and wife, Carrie Brown of Cross Plains, Texas; 9 grandchildren, Jake and wife, Janine Grider of Ft. Worth, Texas; Sarah and husband, Shane Poynor of Breckenridge, Texas; Carrol and husband, Jeff Kanady of Breckenridge, Texas; Luke Grider of Breckenridge, Texas; Clay Clark of Mesquite, Texas; Beau Brown of Cross Plains, Texas; Stetson Brown of Cross Plains, Texas; Tucker Brown of Cross Plains, Texas; Hannah Brown of Cross Plains, Texas and 7 great grandchildren.
