Our brother, Cole Hickman passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 61.

Cole, the eldest of three brothers was raised in a country life with respect and morals. He graduated from a rural country school “Leon High School in Jewett, Texas in 1974, then went straight to Texas A & M University where he graduated in 1978 with a degree in Animal Science. While using his degree for a couple of years he discovered he had the “Gift of Gab” most of the time unfiltered (LOL). He got into Oilfield sales where flourished as Vice President with serval companies in Sales & Marketing. Cole traveled the world many times over. He retired in 2005 with health issues. He spent more than 30 years as a sales Rep. Typical upbringing for rural life he was involved with 4H, FFA, Rodeo and Softball.

Cole is preceded in death by his parents, James and Norma Drews-Hickman of Bryan, Texas.

Cole is survived by brothers, Kit Russell and wife, Brenda Allin Hickman of Bryan, Texas; Craig Alan Hickman of Rising Star, Texas; son, James Russell Hickman of Midland, Texas; daughter, Christy Makohon of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren.

Arrangements under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home, Cross Plains, TX.
