Donald Reginald "Regin"  Stover Jr.
Donald Reginald “Regin” Stover Jr., 45, of Cross Plains, Texas went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 28 at the First Baptist Church in Cross Plains, Texas with David Simmons officiating and Tom Merryman assisting. Burial will follow at Blake Cemetery in Brown County, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, April 27 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel.

Regin was born on October 9, 1972 in Abilene, TX to Reggy and Dianna Purvis-Stover. He graduated from Cross Plains High School in 1991 and attended Cisco Jr College. He made his home outside of Cross Plains near where he grew up. He helped his daddy on the family ranch working cows, farming and would do anything around the house for his momma. He was loved deeply by his family. He was an accomplished horseman and devoted his life to breaking and training horses for himself and the public. He spent almost every day on horseback or trimming and shoeing. He loved his family and friends and would do anything for them. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Regin is survived by a his parents, Reggy and Dianna Purvis-Stover of Cross Plains, Texas; sister, Tonya Yeary and husband, Toye of Weatherford, Texas; brother, Brandon Stover and wife, Kimberly of Weatherford, Texas; 2 aunts, Linda Strength and husband, Charles of Cross Plains, Texas; Vickie Strength and husband, Donald of Cross Plains, Texas; 1 nephew, Tallon Yeary of Weatherford, Texas; 3 nieces, Trista Yeary, TyAnn Yeary and Kashley Stover all of Weatherford, Texas; numerous cousins, family and dear friends.
