James Wayland Hyles, 77, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2020 in Abilene, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 28, at 10:30 AM at Cross Plains Memorial Park in Cross Plains, Texas with Terry Simmons officiating. James was born November 6, 1942 in Brownfield, Texas to the Late Lewis Frank Hyles and Eva Bell (Pebsworth) Hyles.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hyles; parents, Frank Hyles and Eva Bell (Pebsworth) Hyles; 2 brothers, Charles Hyles; Lowell Montgomery; granddaughter, Shana (Hyles) Reed.
James is survived by his 4 sons, Buck Hyles and friend, Janice Kelly of Cross Plains; Frankie Hyles and wife, Kelli of Cross Plains; Daniel Hyles and wife, Susan of Toller; Charles Goode, wife Bobbie Jo of Clyde; 23 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Jeri Rose of Abilene; niece, Judy Ridgway of Abilene; host of nieces and nephews and friends.
