Obituary for Mark Lee Coburn

Mark Lee Coburn of Kermit, Texas passed away April 24th 2022 in his home at the age of 61 after a great day being surrounded by family and friends.

Graveside services will be held April 30, 2022 1:00 PM at The Clara McDermett Coburn Private Family Ranch Cemetery at 3050 CR 172, Burkett, Texas (Coleman County).

Mark was born June 2,1960 in Crane, Texas to late, Betty K. Coburn of Mullin, Texas and Charles E. Coburn of Cross Plains, Texas (Burkett, Texas).

Mark was a true west Texas cowboy, he loved Texas History, Texas Music spending countless hours on the Haley Ranch and the family Coburn ranch. He enjoyed cooking out in his backyard with his lifelong friends. He loved his Chocolate Lab, Ethal along with other countless horses and dogs. Mark loved hunting with friends and family and he was an amazing horseman.

Mark was a supporter of the Sons of American Legion Post 339 Kermit, Texas and he served in many capacities at the Sandhill’s Stock Show and Rodeo in Odessa, Texas with his twin brother Clark Coburn

Mark was preceded in death by his identical twin brother, Clark D. Coburn of Midland, Texas, his parents Betty K. Coburn of Mullin, Texas and Charles E. Coburn of Coleman County, Texas and both sets of Grandparents.

Mark was survived in death by his sister, Teri Coburn and husband, Bobby Clarkston; beloved nephew, Josh Coburn his wife, Mandy Coburn; sisters-in-law, Linda Coburn; great nephew, Clay Price; great niece, Macie Coburn; great nephew, Caden Coburn; along with many cousins and dear friends.
