Obituary for Mary A Willis (Pearson)

Mary A Pearson-Willis, 73, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Thursday February 10, 2022 in Brownwood, Texas
Celebration of Life services will be held February, 15th at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Cross Plains, Texas with Ronnie White officiating.
Mary was born May 24, 1948 in Vienna, Austria to the late John M Pearson and Frieda Malek-Pearson. She married Troy L. Willis on September 9, 1967 in Midland, Texas.

Mary surrendered her life to Jesus at Wilshire Park Church in Midland, Texas. She deepened her walk by serving in different areas in the local church body. She enjoyed the outdoors, sitting on the porch, sipping coffee, and watching the sunrise. She delighted in watching the deer in the pasture and listening to the birds signing their morning songs. She appreciated crafting, gardening, crochet and had a special place in her heart for animals and a loving compassion for people, but most of all she loved her relationship with her Lord, Jesus Christ. She spent many hours throughout her life in-bible study and prayer. She also loved spending time with family and friends.

Mary is preceded by her parents and brother, Melvin Pearson.
