Robert Eugene "Pee Wee"  Pickett
Robert "Pee Wee" Pickett, 77, of May, TX., passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Brownwood, TX.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 2 PM at the Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel with David Barnum officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Cut Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

Pee Wee was born on December 11, 1940 in Hobbs, NM. to the late Robert Lee Pickett and Julia Athlee Hunter Pickett. He was a veteran having served proudly in the U.S. Army. Pee Wee married Linda Sue Edwards on August 2, 2008 in May, TX. He was a mechanic in his early years and worked for 44 years as a Heavy Equipment operator until he retired. Pee Wee was also a rancher and farmer. In his spare time he loved "Going to the place" and working on old cars and equipment. He loved to dance and was proud the only trophy he ever received was for dancing. Pee Wee was a member of the Grosvenor Baptist Church.

Pee Wee is survived by his wife Sue Pickett of May, TX., son, Keith Choat and wife Shawn of Chikasha, OK; Lisa Choat of Chickasha, OK; daughter, Dianna Megarity and husband Denny of Cross Cut, TX; daughter, Donna Henry and husband Clinton of Houston, TX; son, James Marrow of Cross Cut, TX; son, Corey Marrow and wife Nikki of May, TX; son in-law, Stelvin Sanderson of Seagraves, TX; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Donnie Pickett and wife Lana of Andrews, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Pee Wee was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tangie Sanderson; a sister, Barbara and brother Boots.
