After 71 years of memories and life a beautiful angel, Sandra Kay Wright, gained her wings on January 31, 2021. Sandra was proceeded in death by her father and mother, Elmer and Jimmie Kathleen Hardesty as well as her brother, Jack Hardesty.

Sandra leaves behind her husband, Earl M. Wright, and their children, Stacey Wright, Heather W. Hill, and Michael and his wife Tabitha Wright. She leaves behind five grandchildren, Dakota and his wife Breanna Harding, Cheyenne Harding, Annalise Hill, and Christian Wright. Sandra also leaves behind three great grandchildren, Gracelynn, Everly, and Rhyker and two in the making. She is also survived by her sister, Rebecca Hardesty.

Sandra was a foster mom to many including Manuela, Jane, and Julie Castor. She was adopted by many as Nana Including Sammy and Taylor Gardner.

Sandra was born in National City, California and moved to Rising Star Texas in 1980. She was an educator for the Rising Star I.S.D. in Rising Star, Texas for many years and last but not the least she was mom and Nana to so many more than her biological family. Sandra was a loving a faithful wife for almost 51 years to Earl M. Wright.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith- 2nd Timothy 4:7.” We love you and you will be missed by all who knew you.

A memorial is being held at Cisco Church of Christ on February 6, 2021 at 5:00 PM presided over by Lee Lewis. Flowers can go the Cisco Church of Christ. Donation in lieu of flowers can be made to the Cisco Church of Christ for the Lake Cisco Christian Camp for youth. They can be contacted at (254)442-1450 or at 1701 AVE N in Cisco, Texas 764371.
