Allen Wayne Bland, age 88 of Cross Plains, Texas passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 11, 2022 in Cross Plains, Texas.
A private memorial service will be held in July.
Allen was born on January 8, 1935 in Cross Cut, Texas to the late Allen John Bland and Lena Jennings-Bland. Allen married Johnny Fortune on June 1, 1954 in Cross Plains, Texas.
Allen was preceded by his parents, Allen John Bland and Lena Jennings-Bland.
Allen is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Johnnie Bland of Cross Plains, Texas; 4 sons, Allen Bland Jr. and his wife, Karen of Burkett, Texas; Tony Bland and his wife, Sheila of Lubbock, Texas; Mark Bland and his wife, Kathy of Mineola, Texas; Scott Bland of Cross Plains, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
