Barbara Redinger

Barbara Jean Redinger, age 83 of Rising Star, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.

A mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 1105 Main Street in Brownwood on Thursday, July 27 at 10:00 am with a Rosery at 9:30 am before the mass. Interment will follow at the Rising Star Heritage Cemetery in Rising Star, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home, 309 N E 4th Street in Cross Plains, Texas.

Barbara was born on November 24, 1939, in Cross Plains, Texas to the late L.C. Clark and Pearl Kathrine James~Clark. Barbara married Paul Redinger on June 29, 1962, in Hobbs, New Mexico, who preceded her on December 24, 2013.

Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Paul Redinger; daughter, Therese Redinger-Hudson; parents.

Barbara is survived by her son, Michael Redinger of Rising Star, Texas; grandsons, Steven Hudson of Early, Texas; Michael McCrae of Comfort, Texas; numerous nieces & nephews all of Kansas.
