Billy Owen

Billy Wayne Owen (62) of Rising Star TX Passed away on February 3rd, 2024.

Bill was born to L.T. and Josie Owen on October 28th 1962 in Dublin TX. He was a lifelong resident of Rising Star and spent his years working in the Texas Oilfields and doing ranch work to name a few.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Mariah Owen, and two brothers, Robert and Johnny Owen.

Bill was known for his giving nature and always helping anyone in need. He lived a life that some may call unconventional, but it was his path, and he was content with that. He was his own kind of person who showed
his love with kind favors and questionable sarcasm. Most days you could find him working on his or someone else's vehicle or fishing and skinning dear in his earlier days. He lived in the moment and that's commendable in itself.

He will be missed and leaves behind his unique mark on this earth, especially on those who were truly close to him.

A Celebration of life was held on February 11th 2024 at the Rising Star, Market building.
