Bobby G. Helms, 80, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 in Abilene, Texas.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 AM at Cross Plains Memorial Park in Cross Plains, Texas.
Bobby was born October 1, 1939 in Hamlin, Texas to the Late Alvie Helms and Retha (Warner) Helms. Bobby married Gay Hendrix on January 17, 1971 in Cancún, Mexico.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Retha Helms; grandson, Justin Martin; sisters, Jo McCoy & Billie Lowe.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Gay Helms of Cross Plains; daughter, Pam Campbell and husband, Randall of Cross Plains; sons, Kevin Martin of Cross Plains; Michael Martin and wife, Mialinda of Abilene; 3 grandchildren, Payton Porter; Whitney Martin, Jennifer Martin; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Don Helms of Lake Brownwood.
