Brenda M. Bane, age 76, of Brownwood passed away, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Brownwood Regional Medical Center in Brownwood, Texas. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Cross Cut Cemetery in Brown County, Texas with Ronnie White officiating.
Brenda was born on January 26, 1940 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to Walter Commander and Pearl (Russell) Commander. Brenda retired from AT&T after 25 years. She and Gerald celebrated 39 years of marriage. They were married in Oklahoma. She enjoyed playing tennis, traveling. She loved all types of animals. She had faith in God and believed in Jesus Christ.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Gerald G. Bane; brother, Walter Grigsby and his wife, Jo Ann.
In lieu of flowers the family would like you to make a donation to any Animal Shelter of your choice.
