Bruce Johnson, 65, formally of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 in Abilene, Texas.

Bruce was born March 18, 1955 in Rising Star, Texas to the late Noah S. Johnson and Bobbie P. Wright-Johnson. Bruce graduated from Cross Plains High School in 1973, were he was involved in track, football, basketball and band. Bruce worked alongside his parents at their family business, Johnson Dry Goods in Cross Plains for many years.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Julia Faye Johnson.
Bruce is survived by his sister, Dianne Johnson Hail of Abilene; nephew and nieces, Brice Hail; Alisa Hail; Lori Lara and husband, Matthew; great nephews and nieces, Trevor Hail, Gavin Hail, Jett Hail and Jocelyn Willcockson.
