Charlotte Jean Ray, 76, of Rising Star, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 5 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Graveside Services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 7 at the Rising Star Cemetery in Rising Star, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00-2:30 PM prior to the service at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas.
Charlotte was born on March 30, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late William Fredrick and Gladys Elnora Mericle-Clawson.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Donald Wayne Ray of Rising Star; son, Randy Wayne Ray and his wife, Patricia of Midland; daughter, Lori Jeanine Taylor and husband, Brian of Memphis, TN; 4 grandchildren, Zachary Ray, Katie Ray, Troy Taylor, and Zeke Taylor.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, William Fredrick and Gladys Elnora Mericle-Clawson and brother, Ronald Dean Clawson.
