Dane Harrison Ratliff, born June 9, 1943 in Rising Star, Texas. He made his heavenly entrance on May 30, 2021.
He was a loving husband, wonderful dad, happy grandpa and friend to many. His love of flying has been realized and he is soaring with the angels. He was a kind, gentle, sweet and quiet man, who loved the Lord with all his heart. He was a creative inventor, a phenomenal chicken man, a handy carpenter and perfect welder. He always had a cheerful spirit and made every day count.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Elaine Ratliff and brother, Michial Ratliff.
He is survived by his wife, Iris Ratliff; daughters, Debbie Dakan and Patti Wolf; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sister, Drucilla Eppard and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 3 at 11:00 PM at Pioneer Cemetery in Eastland County, Texas. Viewing will be Wednesday from 9:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas.
