Dorothie Jean Zedlitz, 84, of Coleman, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Coleman, Texas.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 22, at 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ in Cross Plains, Texas burial at the Pioneer Cemetery in Pioneer, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation Thursday, February 21 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas.
Dorothie was born February 16, 1935 in Lamesa, Texas to the Late Obie Lee and Ruby Rhodes-Hancock.
Dorothie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Otto Fredrick “Fred” Zedlitz and brother, James Lee Hancock.
Dorothie is survived by her sons, Louis Zedlitz of Pioneer; Joe Dan Zedlitz of Comanche; 3 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother, Harold Hancock of Burnett; sister, Carol Flack of Ashville, North Carolina.
