Elizabeth Stearns

Elizabeth Ann Stearns, 87, of Cross Plains, TX, went to be in the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on March 26, 2017.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 31, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Cross Plains with Ronnie White officiating.

Elizabeth Ann was born to the Late O. E. and Virginia Medley on April 4, 1929. She married her soulmate Robert Charles Stearns in January 1945. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cross Plains. She loved being involved with her Church family and Sunday School Class. Her passion for the last several years was card ministry where she would mail out cards to everyone for special occasions or because she felt their need to be spoken to.

She is preceded to Heaven by her parents; brother, Bruce Medley; husband, R.C. Bob Stearns; grandson, Robert Stearns.

Elizabeth Ann is survived by her son, Dale Stearns and wife Sandy of Blanket; daughter, Brenda Spraggins and husband Charles “Sonny” of Cross Plains; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons.
