Frances Foster

Kay was born on July 16, 1938, in Cross Plains, Texas to the late Oren Clayton Barr and Sarah Frances Worthy-Barr. She married the love of her life, Emmitt Wiley “Bum” Foster on August 3, 1956, in Cross Plains, Texas. They were married 51 years and were blessed with two children, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She passed from this life on November 5, 2022.

Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, and two brothers, Edmond James Barr and Charles Clayton Barr.

Kay is survived by her son, Jason Foster of Abilene, Texas; daughter, Karen Foster of Fort Worth, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Tharp; Mitchell Tharp and wife, Kelcy; Julia Sullivan; 3 great grandchildren, Nathan Gaines, Rush Tharp, Rylan Tharp; her beloved nephews, nieces, and extended family, as well as her large circle of cherished friends.

Kay was a gift to those that knew her, her dedication to God gave her the platform to touch many lives with her kind and servant heart. She was a caring, compassionate, and thoughtful soul. She adored her family, cherished her many friends, and treasured every moment spent together.

We now return her to you, Lord.
