Gaylon Lynn Fergason, 60, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away on

April 2, 2026 in Christus Highland Medical Center, Shreveport, LA.

Gaylon was born June 28, 1965, in Stamford, Texas, to Oliver David (Dave) and Oleta Lucille (Frazier) Fergason.

He attended school in Denver City, Texas, graduating with the Class of 1983.

Gaylon loved attending family reunions each year and keeping a strong bond with relatives.

His hobby was throwing darts with the Bossier Dart Association for 30 years.

He dedicated 20 years to the Maintenance Department of Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport.

Gaylon was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church of Bossier.

Gaylon is survived by his wife, Brenda, sons Gaylon Lynn Jr., John Oliver, and granddaughter Kyra, Three sisters Ruby (Bob) Bouziden, Jenny (Boyd) Walton, Wilma (Michael) Williams, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Two brothers Carlton Ralph and David Orval.
