Jim Raymond Burditt, 76, of Cross Plains, Texas, passed away on December 24th in Abilene, Texas.
Jim was born and raised in Snyder, Texas. However, he resided in Cross Plain for over thirty years. Jim enjoyed spending time with his extensive family and sitting on his front porch. He loved playing cards and dominoes. But, more than anything, he had a life-long love of fishing that has been passed down to his grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother and father, his son, Clinton Ray (Butch), a brother and sister, a niece, and two nephews. He is survived by two daughters, Tiffany Burr of DeBerry, Texas and Traci Lynn Martinez of San Antonio, Texas, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a soon-to-be great-granddaughter. He is also survived by two sisters and two brothers, Judy Powledge and her husband Dean, Julie Strunk and her husband David, RC Burditt, and Olen Burditt, two nieces, nine nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was loved and will be deeply missed by many.
