John Charles Illingworth, 75, of May, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 in May, Texas.
The family will have a Memorial Service on Saturday, May 5 at 2:00 pm at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas.
Johnny was born on January 15, 1943 in Cross Plains, TX to the late Riley McCollum (Shorty) and Alma Hazel Graves-Illingworth. He graduated in 1961 from Cross Plains High School. He served 4 years in the United States Army. Johnny was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electric Workers (IBEW) for 35 years. He was member of the Cross Plains Presbyterian Church.
Johnny is survived by a son, John Eric Illingworth of May, Texas; brother, Donald and his wife, Charlene Illingworth of Desdemona, Texas; 2 sisters, Patty Turner of Hawkins, Texas; Sandra Jones and husband, Rolan of Cross Plains, Texas.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
