Karen Adams

Karen Jane (Walker) Adams, 75, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 7, at 1:00 PM at Burkett Cemetery in Burkett, Texas with Kevin Morton officiating.

Karen was born May 10, 1945 in Mitchell County, Texas to the late Socrates Allen Walker and Helen Jane (Ferguson) Walker. Karen married Tommy Eugene Adams on August 19, 1966 in Big Springs, Texas, who preceded her on February 7, 2015.

Karen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Tommy Eugene Adams; parents, Socrates Allen and Helen Jane Walker.

Karen is survived by her sons, Matt Adams of Houston; Shay Adams and his wife, Ashleigh of Copperas Cove; daughter, Shawna Dobbs and her husband, Coley of Coahoma; grandchildren, Keegan Dobbs, Serena Dobbs, Sean Adams, Samuel Adams and Emma Adams; brother, Ron Walker and his wife, Wanda of Abilene.
