Ladonna Moenning

LaDonna McNeal Moenning, 55, of Cross Plains passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Abilene.

Visitation with the family will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Cross Plains at 2 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2017. Burial will follow at Cross Plains Memorial Park.

LaDonna was born on September 23, 1961 to the late Wilburn McNeal and Margie Wright McNeal in Dumas, TX. She married Mark Moenning in Electra, TX. on February 1, 2003. LaDonna loved the outdoors and enjoyed yardwork. She had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day and loved making others smile. LaDonna worshipped at First Baptist Church and loved her church family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

LaDonna is survived by her daughters, Cortney Wilson and husband Daniel of Wichita Falls, TX., Marqie Goins and husband Cody of Burkburnett, TX., Amber Moenning of Rogers, Ark., Tiffany Johnson of Cross Plains, TX; a son, Garrett Moenning of Cross Plains, TX; grandchildren, Trey, Jayden, Tator, Caylee, Baylee, Haylee, Aubri, Landon, Hannah; her mother, Margie McNeal of Cross Plains; her sisters, Joann Porter and husband Jim of Linden, TX., Melba Hampton and husband Dennis of Cross Plains, TX; brothers, James McNeal and wife Vicki of Harrold, TX., William McNeal of Cross Plains; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
