Lillie Marie Culwell-Dillard, 84, of Cross Plains, TX passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 in Abilene, TX.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, TX. A burial will follow the service at the Cross Plains Memorial Park in Cross Plains, TX. The family will have a time of visitation at Higginbotham Funeral Home on Saturday, January 13 from 10:00-12:00 PM prior to the service.

Lillie was born on September 23, 1933 in Gorman, TX to the late Thomas John and Mira Juanita Milford-Culwell. She married Charles E. Dillard on April 23, 1949. They were married 39 wonderful years before he passed away on December 23, 1988. Lillie was a hairdresser for many years. She attended Cottonwood Baptist Church and was a Sunday School Teacher. She enjoyed collecting various things and was a good cook. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Dillard of Cross Plains, TX; brother, Dale Culwell of Sequin, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas John and Mira Juanita Milford-Culwell; husband, Charles E. Dillard.
