Margie McNeal, 90, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 in Cross Plains, Texas.
Funeral service will be held Monday, May 20, at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Cross Plains, Texas with Martin Young officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Plains Memorial Park. The family will have a time of visitation Monday, May 20 from 11:00-12:00 am at First Baptist in Cross Plains, Texas.
Margie was born November 5, 1928 in Haworth, Oklahoma to the Late Martin and Bessie Young-Wright. Margie married Wilburn McNeal in Haworth, Oklahoma on December 18, 1943, who preceded her in April 22, 2011.
Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Wilburn McNeal; parents, Martin and Bessie Young-Wright; daughter, LaDonna Moenning.
Margie is survived by her 4 children, JoAnn Porter and husband, Jim of Cross Plains, Texas; James McNeal and wife, Vicki of Harrold, Texas; Willie McNeal of Cross Plains, Texas; Melba Hampton and husband, Dennis of Cross Plains, Texas; 19 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Wright and wife, Pat of New Boston, Texas; sister Mary Long of Dekalb, Texas.
