Maria Torres, 76, of Rising Star, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Home in Rising Star, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28 at 2:00 PM at St Mary’s, 1105 Main Street, Brownwood, Texas. Rosary will be Monday, December 27 at 6:00 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas.

Maria was born August 2, 1945 in San Felipe, Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Feliciano Camacho and Maria del Carmen Reyna-Camacho. Maria married Felix Torres on September 5, 2011 in Comanche, Texas.

Maria was preceded by her parents, Feliciano Camacho and Maria del Carmen Reyna-Camacho.

Maria is survived by her husband, Felix Torres; daughters, Brenda Ryes; Manuela Ortega; Celsa Camacho; sons, Mario Camacho; Eulalio Camacho; brothers, Roberto Camacho; Carmelo Camacho.
