Maxey (Max) Evans, 69, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 18 at 10AM at the Cross Plains Treadway Park pavilion.
Max was born May 30, 1952 in El Paso to the late John B Evans and Floryne Preslar-Evans. He married Norma Merrill on May 29, 1971 in Cross Plains. Max was the pastor of Living Water Ministries.
Max is survived by his wife of fifty years, Norma Evans of Cross Plains; daughters Tina Bradley and her husband, Rodney of Cross Plains and Glenda Strom and her husband, Jeremy of Dickson, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Colton, River, and Victoria Bradley, Halle, Julia, and Claire Strom; brother, Bob Evans and wife, Bev of Plainview; sisters, Jo Alice Parks of Abilene; Bonnie Shackelford of Austin; Sue McBeth and husband, Bobby of Plainview; sister-in-law, Karen Evans of Wolfforth, and many beloved friends nieces, nephews, and spiritual sons and daughters.
