Norma Moore

Norma Jean Moore, 82, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Ballinger, Texas surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 19, at 1:00 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas with Charles Chesshir officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Springs Cemetery in Stephenville, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation Friday, October 18 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas.

Norma was born December 3, 1936 in Stephenville, Texas to the Late Monroe and Eva Riley-Hook. Norma married J.D. Moore in Stephenville, Texas on September 12, 1953, who preceded her on December 22, 2014.

Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, J. D. Moore; parents, Monroe and Eva Riley-Hook.

Norma is survived by her son, Johnny D. Moore of Cross Plains; daughters, Vicky Worley and her husband, David of Cross Plains; Malinda Caltote and her husband, Bill of Winters; 6 grandchildren, Riley, Jaden, Ben, Jeff, Joby, Christy, and Kayla; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Martha Waggener of Austin; sister-in-law, Jo Odom of Baird.
