Norman Lee Taylor , age 50 of Cross Plains passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas.
Norman was born on September 17, 1965 in Sherman, Texas to Bobby Taylor and Sherry Gilbert-Ables. Norman loved movies especially Sci-Fi. He enjoyed reading when he was able when his eyesight began to fail he fell in love with audio books. He enjoyed working with people and outdoors.
Norman is survived by his 4 brothers, Bobby Taylor and his wife, Karen of Odessa, Texas; Curtis Taylor and his wife, Sheila of Cross Plains, Texas; Frank Powell and wife, Dora of Columbia, Mississippi; David Powell of Cisco, Texas; Aunt, Teresa Kunkel and her husband, Ray of Alvarado, Texas; Uncle, Robert Gilbert and his wife, Skye of Hobbs, New Mexico; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Ables and Aunt, Sheila Rowin.
