Otto Rudloff, 72, (known to family as JR) went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 3, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home, Cross Plains, TX. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cross Plains Memorial Park, Cross Plains, TX.
JR was born on September 8, 1944 to the late Otto Rudloff Sr. and Rebecca McQueen Rudloff at the family's home in Brownwood, TX. He grew up and moved to the metroplex where he met and married his sweetheart Paulette Stone. JR was a quick-witted, fun loving guy who could fix or build anything. He worked as a foreman and supervisor most of his life. JR retired from the Trinity River Authority of Texas after 29 years of service. He loved fishing, fast cars, and spending time with family and friends.
JR is survived by his daughters, Lisa King and husband Larry of Weatherford; Kristie Rudloff of Lake Tawakoni; Kerry Howard and husband J of Wowoka, Ok; his son, Jerard Rudloff of Roanoke; his sister, Julia Faye Rudloff of Brownwood; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
