Randy Foster, 69, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 in Abilene, Texas.

A graveside burial will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Sabanno Cemetery in Eastland County. Due to restrictions in place because of the COVID-19 virus, if you would like to attend the graveside service, we ask that you follow social distancing rules or remain inside your vehicle at the cemetery. The family appreciates your attendance but wants everyone to be safe during this time.

Randy was born February 28, 1951 in Baird, Texas to the Late Nathan Foster and Billie Louise (Erwin) Foster. Randy married Judy Lutzenburger in Cross Plains, Texas on July 31, 1971. Randy was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a deacon for 40 years. He served on many committee’s, but one of his greatest joys was serving as chairman of the building committee for the First Baptist Church family life center. He loved Cross Plains ISD and served on the school board for 21 years overseeing many building projects. Randy served on the Cross Plains Volunteer Fire Department along with both of his sons and his grandson. He owned and operated Foster Dairy for 41 years and then continued running the family farm.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Foster and Billie Louise (Erwin) Foster.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Judy Foster of Cross Plains; sons, Kyle Foster and wife, Penny of Cross Plains; Blake Foster and wife, Theresa of Cross Plains; grandson, Michael Foster; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Foster and Madison Foster all of Cross Plains; brothers, Steve Foster and wife, Anita of Atwell; James Foster and wife, Paulette of Atwell.

Pallbearers: Michael Foster, Duane Hutchins, J.D. Huddleston, Randy Montgomery, Tommy Lee, Brandon Stover.

Honorary; Reggy Stover, Alvin Hutchins, Jim Chesshir, Brent Key.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cross Plains Cancer Fund P.O. Box 183 Cross Plains, Texas and Cross Plains Volunteer Fire Department 300 S Ave F Cross Plains, Texas 76443.
