Ray Dodd

Ray Dodd , age 74 of Cross Plains passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas. Burial will follow in the Cottonwood Cemetery in Cottonwood, Texas. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas.

Ray was born on July 3, 1942 in Maywood, California. to the late Robert and Alliene Dodd.

Ray is survived by his wife, Ava Dodd of Cross Plains, Texas; children, Cindy and Michael McClurkin of Van Buren, Arkansas; Angie Dodd of Skiatook, Oklahoma; Ray Jr. and Lorrie Dodd of Minot, North Dakota; Christi Dodd of Little Rock, Arkansas; Michael and Shawna Tollett of Cross Plains, Texas; Sabrina Jones of Clyde, Texas; Sammie and Bobby Simpkins of Abilene, Texas; 4 brothers, Bob and Barbara Dodd of Corpus Christi, Texas; John and Diana Dodd of Big Springs, Texas; Rex and Jeanie Dodd of San Angelo, Texas; Steve and Tobin Wangerin of Thousand Oaks, California; sister, Ruthie and Bob Keys of Ft. Worth, Texas; brother-in-laws, Charles Wood of Abilene, Texas; 15 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ray was preceded in death by both Parents; brother Ernie Dodd; sister, Rosemary Kincaid; brother-in-laws, Ev Wood and Floyd Wood; daughter, Shannon Tollett.
