Rick Barnett went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 19 at Care Nursing and Rehab in Early with Hospice Care.
We rejoice that he is made whole. No more Dementia or pain. He will be greatly missed by loved ones and friends.
Rick was born to Russel and Ruth Barnett in Amarillo, Texas on November 29, 1944. He married Linda Haley on June 27, 1986 and they were married for 36 years.
Rick was raised up on a farm, then he got a job at Claude Bank, worked for the PCA for 14 years and was a loan officer also at First National Bank in Canyon, Texas.
Rick and Linda moved from Canyon in 1997 to Rising Star, Texas with People State Bank.
Rick is survived by his wife, Linda Barnett of Rising Star, Texas; daughter, Shelly Rudiger and husband, Brian of Mansfield, Texas; son, sons, Scott Barnett and wife, Laurie of Mansfield, Texas; Richard Barnett and wife, Tammy of Victoria, Texas; daughter, Renee’ Bingham and husband, Donald of Liberty, Utah; 10 grandchildren, Cade, Faith, Tucker, Devin, Logan, Tera and her husband, Josh, Caleb, Hope, Creek and Koltan and one great grandchild, Makynlee Elaine Wagner.
Rick is preceded in death by his parents and son, Russell Barnett.
