Robert Martin

Robert Carmel Martin, known to his friends as Bob, age 55 of Rising Star, Texas passed away on Saturday January 14, 2023.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 24 at 2:00 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service with Abilene Professional Services for cremation.

Bob was born on April 21, 1967 in Canton New York to Robert Francis Martin and Monique Daigle-Martin.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob worked his entire 35-year career as an IT professional. He enjoyed hunting, home improvement projects, and working on the ranch. He cherished time spent with his daughters.

Bob is survived by his daughters, Alice and Rebecca of New Braunfels, Texas; brother, Wayne Martin of Auburn, Maine; brother, Zak Martin of New York; wife, Natalie Walker of Cross Plains, TX; step-father, Richard Poulin of Sabattus, Maine; and a large extended family.
