Robert Tyson Peevy, 95, of Cottonwood, Texas passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 in San Angelo, Texas.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 10, at 9:30 AM at Cottonwood Cemetery in Cottonwood, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation Thursday, July 9 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas. Out of respect for the well-being of all, the family request that everyone please wear face mask. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Coulter’s home, near Cottonwood after the graveside services. All are welcomed.

R.T. was born December 5, 1924 in Callahan County, Texas to the Late Robert Sublett Peevy and Thelma (Champion) Peevy. R.T. married Yvonne Sandifer in Cottonwood, Texas on June 8, 1947.

R.T. was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Yvonne Peevy; parents, Robert Sublett Peevy and Thelma (Champion) Peevy, brothers, Lowell Dean Peevy and Orean Peevy.

R.T. known by all who loved him as “Honey” is survived by his daughter, Denise Coulter and husband Tim of Cross Plains; 4 grandchildren, Hillary Stoker and husband, Joe; Whitney Martin and husband, Bobby; Tiffany Lange and husband, Chris; Chase Coulter and wife, Corinne; 7 great grandchildren, Cambry Hardey; Caitlin Lange; Joe Paul Robert Stoker; Easton Martin; Sophie Stoker; Alexandra Martin; Cameron Coulter.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cottonwood Historical Association.
