Roy Erwin “Bud” Hankey, 94, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 in Cross Plains, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 11 at 1:00 PM at Scott Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
Bud was born March 16, 1927 in Clear Lake, Texas to the late Louis Hankey and Annie Liz Stephens-Hankey. Bud married Betty Sue Mills on October 15, 1947 in Rockwell, Texas, who preceded him on July 18, 2003.
Bud was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Betty Sue Hankey; parents, Louis Hankey and Annie Liz Stephens-Hankey.
Bud is survived by his children, Larry Hankey of McKinney; Sharon Hankey Davis of McKinney; Teresa Leverich of Cross Plains; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Darlene Williamson of Arkansas.
