Roy David Markham, age 87, of Rising Star, Texas passed away, Saturday, May 14, 2016 in Rising Star, Texas. Mr. Markham wish were to be cremated. Services will be held at a later date.
Roy was born on May 25, 1928 in Comanche, Texas to late Nimrod Franklin Markham and Eva Theo Collins-Markham. Roy served in the United States Army during World War II and served in the United States Air Force Reserve. He was a Truck Driver and a car salesman.
Roy is survived by his 8 children, David Frank Markham of New Mexico; Verna Diane Markham of Cross Plains, Texas; Brenda Fay Markham of Temple, Texas; Thomas Wayne Markham of Colorado; Debra Darlene Salvage of Utah; Timothy Markham of New Mexico; Lenora Dianne Taylor of Ft. Worth, Texas; Terri Lynn Silva of Houston, Texas.
