Sylvia Owens-Switzer, age 69, of Cross Plains passed away, Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Cross Plains, Texas. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel in Cross Plains, Texas with Terry Simmons officiating. The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday at the Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Sylvia was born on March 5, 1947 in Burnet, Texas to the late Bob and Wilma Massey-Owen. She was a local beautician in the Cross Plains Community for many years.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, James Switzer of Cross Plains, Texas; 3 sons, Clay Richardson and his Fiancé, Shiloh Nowlin; Kevin Switzer and his wife, Kelli; Cory Switzer and his wife, Paige; 4 grandchildren, Sterling Switzer; Avery Switzer; Storey Switzer; Journee Switzer; 2 sisters, Loxie Huffstuttler; Susie Pell and husband, Bill; numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
