Therennie Crites-McCrohan, age 79, of Cross Plains, TX, passed away on Monday, November 28 2016 in Rising Star, TX.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, TX. A visitation will be held from 10-12 PM, Thursday before the service at 2:00 PM.
Therennie was born on May 23, 1937 in Robstown, TX to the late Cresencio Perez and Vinnie Bell Crites. Therennie was an avid bowler. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and quilting. She also loved to play 42. She was a member of the Cross Plains Church of Christ and Cross Plains Senior Center.
Therennie is survived by her children, Paul Stroope and Shelly May of Ozona, Texas, Becky Cerda and Arturo of Abilene, Texas, William Stroope and Sharon Kyler of Mansfield, Texas, Debora Voorhies and Johnny of North Zulch, Texas, Jeff Stroope and Billie Anne of Granbury, Texas; 9 Siblings; 13 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren.
Therennie is preceded in death by her parents, Cresencio Perez and Vinnie Bell Crites; son, Marshall Wade Stroope.
In lieu of flowers memorial can be sent to Cross Plains Senior Center, 108 N Main Street, Cross Plains, Texas 76443.
