Velma Doris Lancaster, 96, of Early, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in Brownwood, Texas.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, July 18, at 11:00 AM at Wolf Valley Cemetery in Brown County, Texas with John Tunnel officiating.
Velma was born August 17, 1923 in Holder, Texas to the Late John Henry Beck and Myrtle Jewel Butler-Beck. Velma married Arthur H. Lancaster on May 18, 1940, who preceded her on June 10, 1988.
Velma was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Arthur H. Lancaster; two children; four brothers; three sisters.
Velma is survived by her son, Art Lancaster of Early; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brother, Adron Beck of May; sister, Vada Childers of Abilene.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wolf Valley Cemetery Rt. W Box 169 Rising Star, Texas 76443.
