W. F. Moore, 93, of Corinth, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in Denton, Texas surrounded by hIs family.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2020, at 1:30 PM at Cottonwood Cemetery in Cottonwood, Texas. The family will have a time of visitation Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Higginbotham Funeral Home in Cross Plains, Texas.
W.F. was born June 25, 1926 in Freestone County, Texas to the Late Hosea and Murtie Sawers-Moore. W. F. married Patricia C. DeFord in Crane County, Texas on February 6, 1952, who preceded him on March 27, 2012.
W. F. was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia C. Moore, parents, Hosea and Murtie Sawers-Moore.
W. F. is survived by his son, Jimmie Moore; 2 daughters, Karen Starks and Murtie Comer; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
