William Clark

William Thomas “Tom” Clark, 83, of Cross Plains, Texas passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Victor Cemetery in De Leon, Texas with Eugene Dillard officiating.

Tom was born on November 11, 1937 in Frankston, Texas to the late Robert Clark and Lucille (Wilson) Clark. Tom loved baseball, he coached baseball and was referred to the name of Coach Slack. He worked for Sioux National Gas, as well as maintenance at the First Baptist Church in Cross Plains.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters and brother.

Tom is survived by his sons, Robert Clark and wife, Debra of Breckenridge; Tommy Clark and wife, Cynthia of Brownwood; Michael Clark and wife, Anna of Brownwood; daughter, Janice Kelly of Cross Plains; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Roxanne and husband, Glen Armstrong of Stephenville; brother, Robert “Bobby” Clark of Cross Plains.
